Long awaited news has finally been released about the SLC Tender for AT Equipment and Training.
Long awaited news has finally been released about the SLC Tender for AT Equipment and Training.
The original tender was officially abandoned this week, with the plan to restructure and release a new tender.
Remtek System’s submission was developed on the premise of an integrated and seamless business system that would enable students to receive the AT, Training and Support in the smoothest and most convenient way.
The student experience of DSA services delivered by Remtek Systems is renowned industry wide. Prior to DSA-QAG closing, we represented over 92% of all reviews by students of ATSP services, with over 2400 “5 Star” reviews.
Our unique ‘student centred’ approach is consistent and of the highest quality.
Strategic Partnerships
We are delighted to share that during the tender process we forged business alliances with other sector leaders, to deliver national scalability without compromising quality.
We have partnered with a successful training provider, who have been providing D.S.A. NMH services since 2004 and an award-winning disabled-led social enterprise which supports students, organisations and social justice projects.
These organisations were carefully handpicked for the synergies in our business ethos’; their qualities and to enhance our training provision.
Remtek Systems can now guarantee national scale and provide the best training services available in the DSA industry.
Our overall aim is to develop and deliver a highly integrated solution, to further build on our industry leading offering.
System Improvements: What would this improved system offer to students?
ATSP’s are often the student’s first point of call after receiving the DSA-2. Upon our receipt of the DSA-2 from the student we will offer to contact all relevant DSA parties on their behalf. This will take away any stress, confusion and administration for the student.
System Improvements: What would this improved system offer Assessment Centres and Assessors?
For Assessment Centres and Assessors, this will
- result in less queries from students about their DSA and what to do next
- create more certainty that what gets recommended in the report, and subsequently approved, is implemented and earlier on (providing benefits to the student too)
Why We Are Proposing This New System?
Our overall aim is to improve the student journey for each individual student by delivering the best possible DSA experience.
